The IDS Project is thrilled to announce that we are now accepting proposals for our upcoming Annual Summer Conference, “From Our Shelves to Yours: The Home of Resource Sharing,” will take place on July 31 - August 1, 2025, at SUNY Geneseo Milne Library in Geneseo, NY and dinner with a night of fun at the Strong Museum of Play on July 30, 2025.

The IDS Conference brings together interlibrary loan and resource sharing professionals to exchange ideas, explore best practices, and address the challenges shaping our evolving field.

We invite you to submit proposals for presentations, panels, workshops, or lightning talks that share innovative strategies, unique solutions, and collaborative projects related to interlibrary loan and resource sharing.


Presenters Discount: 

  • The First Presenter will receive a 20% registration discount*
  • The Second Presenter will receive a 10% registration discount*

*Registration discount codes will be emailed by April 25, 2025 if proposals are selected. 

Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Enhancing efficiency and user experience in ILL workflows
  • Utilizing emerging technologies in resource sharing
  • Collaboration across institutions and consortia
  • Sustainability and accessibility in interlibrary loan
  • Innovations in data analytics, reporting, and system integration

Proposal Guidelines:

  • Title: A concise, descriptive title
  • Abstract: A summary explaining your session's focus and key takeaways. [+100 words]
  • Format: Specify whether your session is a presentation, panel, workshop, or lightning talk
  • Duration: Indicate your session length (e.g., 15, 30, or 60 minutes)
  • Presenters: Include the name(s), title(s), and affiliation(s) of all presenters
  • Submission Deadline: Proposals must be submitted by April 11, 2025.
  • Acceptance emails: will be sent no later than April 25, 2025
